Recession-related concerns grew as the Treasury yield curve inverted, more global government bond markets traded in negative territory and poor economic data came out of Germany and China.

One of my all-time favorite movies is “Jaws,” an iconic American summer movie about a great white shark that terrorizes a seaside New England resort town.
